Work hard. Play hard.
My work IS hard….. I hate to admit it, but woah, my last job was cushy in comparison. (And it was tough)
My new place is challenging in so many ways. Sometimes I come out shattered and pleased at a successful shift, other times I come out shattered and a tad overwhelmed and yet other times I just come out shattered. On the odd occasion I skip out ;P

7 months later....
Time flies when you’re having fun. Well, times flown but it hasn’t all been plain sailing. At times I’ve been like a rabbit trapped in headlights…. But, like any new job, this is to be expected. My workplace has evolved since I started, so there have been changes for all the staff. With the 6mth hurdle passed I’m truly starting to feel like I genuinely fit in....

The wonderment of watching Satch with his son Chewie, will never grow old. We were a lil concerned that either Chewie and Satch wouldn’t bond, or Satch would get jealous of lil man’s sudden appearance. Yes, there have been moments, but not in the way we expected…..Satch has been so protective and loving it makes me go awhhhhh a lot!!

Day 10 of new regime.
Tablets….getting used to swallowing pills. Introduced Vit B-50 complex it’s full of goodies to “up the ante”for woman :D Helps beat tiredness and fatigue AND it balances our hormones. Yay.

My fave type of date nites
My kids have grown up knowing their dad and I have date nights. It’s really important to a) show a united front and more importantly b) have fun with your bestfriend & partner. When the kids were tiny we were restricted by time money and sitters. Now the kids are older its just time constraints and again money. But you know, dates don’t need to be expensive just relevant....

Me Time
Doing rather well in 2013. Yay me. Am learning to use my days off more productively and still fitting friends around family time.
It’s weird tho, I’m still feeling a little dis-engaged from everything. Enjoying the moments but time is still trundling past at speed.

After such a huge change in my life the last quarter of 2012, I’m now able to reflect and see what works and what doesn’t.
Swimming’s taken such a back seat…. This makes me sad. I realise I may not get to see my swimpals every Wednesday BUT I need to start going on my days off no matter what day it is.
