Wooshyslooshy
So today I got my new all singing all dancing washing machine. So happy :D. What struck me the most, was how quickly we take things for granted. For me handwashing from Friday started off as fun, bathtub full of water, Erin and I re-enacting the woman at the river with pumice stones and boards. We sang, we thought this was such a laugh…… That wash took 3days to dry (our wringing...

Blankness
I’m not worried, I’ve always been like this, tho it is worrying….. What’s my problem. Blankness; esp when it comes to bands/music. I absolutely adore music and listen to albums all weekend. Not so much during the week as my DJ isn’t here, but at work. Bill is my DJ. I can’t remember band names. Never could. I don’t know why….. I would hear something...

Hair today gone tomorrow
Satch….. My very hairy Tibetan terrier. He’s going thru his ‘slowly moulting his puppy fur whilst getting his adult fur’ period. This leads to hours of grooming. In fact today after a rather mucky walk, his wash and blow-dry took 90mins. I kid you not. We were both pretty peeved by the end of it and but for bill phoning I think we would’ve carried on…… ...

Know your subject
Even after 26 1/2 years together I’m still learning something new about Bill. Rather than take this as a slight, after all this time, I find it exciting and refreshing; nothing worse than a stale relationship. It wasn’t even something new to him, I’d just never realised. In other things we are like dopplegangers the whole ‘finishing eachothers sentences, walking into a...

It's good to talk.....
We’ve all been programmed not to talk to strangers, to be careful what we say and what we share…. Life can also get very busy, time spent with the ones you want is not always possible, time trundles on and suddenly you realise you haven’t talked, ‘properly talked’ in ages….. Then there’s twitter and facebook where thru updates, you feel like you’ve...

Daily Waffle
So I’m thoroughly enjoying writing for the Daily Waffle and I’m learning lots too in subjects I’m not competent in writing about, but enjoy the format they’re written in :). If you’d like to read Daily waffle just go to dailywaffle.co.uk/. And as they say in the real world “read all about it” thanx. Soapgirl

A day to remember.
http://redflagflyinghigh.com/2011/02/blogs/video-the-flowers-of-manchester On the 6th of February 1958, 53 years ago saw the loss of the busby babes. In total 23 people connected with the Manchester united football team lost their lives. 8 players lost their lives. They were part of a young and gifted side, their deaths a loss to Manchester united and to England. Tributes in Manchester, on...

Such a good day
Wednesday has always been a favourite of mine for years. Today did not disappoint. Rather than the swim, coffee, shop routine, I spent the time with my son :). He’s 18. He wanted to spend the day with me, go shopping, have lunch and just chill. :D Had a rather fabulous time, chatting, sharing, laughing, spending, eating and drinking. Good times. And wow does my son enjoy shopping. Got some...
